Henry VIII didn't physically behead anyone himself; others did it.
I guess he disliked some more than others.
Henry the 8th divorce and beheadhis wives because he did not like them or they had a girl. But he had his last wife live because she had a son like he wanted.
i know that henry brought in a swordsman from either Spain or France to do Anne, but i have no idea whether it was axe or sword for Katharine Howard
he beheaded 2 of his 6 wives. he beheaded wife number 2, anne boleyn, because he wanted to get rid of her, and wife no. 5, katharine howard, because she had an affair with 3 other men.
It was actually Henry VIII who had six wives and that was because he wanted a son but none of the wives gave him one so he either divorced them or killed them
Henry VIII wasn't very popular because he beheaded people and had 6 wives and because they didn't have a baby boy he either divorced behead them
King Henry VIII was famous for having 6 wives, 2 of which he killed himself.
Henry VIII actually had six wives, two of whom he would behead. The reason for this was because he wanted a male heir and none of them seemed to be able to give him one. The names of his wives were Catherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anne of Cleves, Catherine Howard, and Catherine Parr in that order. He would have a son by Jane Seymour who would eventually become King Edward VI, but he would die at a young age and Henry's firstborn daughter Mary I, would become queen.
I don't think most Christians think of the wives very often. They probably think that the wives were very shamefully treated by Henry, but that they themselves did little or no wrong. Henry himself - that's a different matter. Most Christians don't have a very high opinion of him and his series of marriages.!
Actually, only two of Henry's wives were crowned queen- Catharine of Aragon and Anne Boleyn. The two proved so much trouble in their position, Henry never made his wife queen again.
At his instructions two of his wives were beheaded.
6 wives of Henry the eighth! :)
