Winston Churchill was undoubtedly a great leader when it mattered most. He made Great Britain stand up against Nazi-Germany and orchestrated the first steps towards Hitler's ultimate defeat. For that, the parts of the world that are now free definitely owe him. However, during almost 7 decades of public service one way or another, Churchill certainly had time to make mistakes as a leader. His efforts during the first world war in connection with the Gladioli- disaster as well as his post WW2-career in politics have both been heavily eaten.
