There has to be a general election in Britain at least every 5 years, so that is a longest single term. A Prime Minister can be re-elected as often as their party wants them and they remain in power, so there is no real maximum time they can serve as such. In modern times Margaret Thatcher was Prime Minister from May 1979 to November 1990. There have been longer serving ones. Robert Banks Jenkinson was Prime Minister from June 1812 to April 1827. Sir Robert Walpole was the first and longest serving from 1721 to 1742.
You mean who is our Prime Minister ? Gordon Brown
Ask the question"Who is the Prime Minister of Canada?""Who is the Prime Minister of India?"using the name of the country you are looking for.If you mean the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom - it's David Cameron. If you mean who is the current Prime Minister of Canada... that would be the Right Honourable Stephen Harper. However, there are several countries around the world how have a head of government called a Prime Minister (ex: United Kingdom). There are more still that have a head of state by the same name (ex: Russia).
The United Kingdom does not elect presidents. The UK has never had a President.if you mean the united kingdom you are clearly insane- we have prime ministers and regents hereThe UK does not have a president, instead, the chief executive is the prime minister. The first prime minister was Sir Robert Walpole, who took the office in 1721.
There are no prime ministers of England, i assume you mean the United Kingdom? If so it was Tony Blair (Labour Party).
The United Kingdom does not have a president; it has a constitutional monarchy. The head of state is the monarch, currently Queen Elizabeth II. The head of government is the Prime Minister, currently Boris Johnson. The Prime Minister is responsible for running the government and making decisions on behalf of the country, while the monarch's role is largely ceremonial.
Great Britain England is one of the countries which make up The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The others are Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. If you are talking about, for example, the County of Yorkshire, that is in England. On the other hand the City of Cardiff is in Wales, Edinburgh is in Scotland and Belfast is in Northern Ireland. The one time you should not say "England" is when you really mean "The United Kingdom." For example, there is no Queen of England or Prime Minister of England, They are Queen of the United Kingdom and Prime Minister of The United Kingdom. Saying "England" when you mean "The United Kingdom" is like saying "Texas" when you really mean "The US." - ignorant and potentially offensive.

In some countries, like the United Kingdom, the main political authority is called "prime minister" (the equivalent in many other countries would be the "president"). In Harry Potter, minister can refer to: (1) The prime minister of the muggles, i.e., of Great Britain (not associated to any specific real prime minister). (2) But usually, it refers to a "minister of magic", a ficticious authority of the magical world (head of the Ministry of Magic). In Harry Potter, the magical community in Great Britain has a minister (and a Ministry) of magic, so do the magical communities in other countries.
If you mean the UK Prime Minister, it is 10 Downing Street London. The Australian Prime Minister lives in "The Lodge" in Canberra.
Prime, meaning first minister. The head honcho!!
"The deputy Prime Minister immediately takes on the duties of the PM until the monarch invites someone to be the new Prime Minister."This is incorrect if you are referring to the UK office of the Prime Minister. The Deputy Prime Minister is an honorary post which carries no responsibilities or right of succession. If the British Prime Minister died in office or was otherwise removed, the majority party would have to elect a new leader and then present him or her for approval to the Monarch.
United Kingdom. It stands for the United Kingdom.
