East Europe(USSR) and West Europe
Roosevelt, Stalin and Churchill, were known as the "Big Three" because of the might of the nations they represented and their peaceful collaboration during World War II.
Nov 28 - Dec 1, 1943 Conference at Tehran, Iran of "Big Three" Franklin Roosevelt Winston Churchill Josef Stalin What was previously said is correct. However I would like to add to this. Back, during the war, we talked about the "Big Four." Roosevelt Churchill Stalin Chang Kai-Shek (actually his name was Jian Jieshi, but no one back then used that name). Three people were present for the Cairo Conference: Roosevelt Churchill Chang Kai-Shek Then there was the Tehran Conference: Roosevelt Churchill Stalin Followed by the Yalta Conference: Roosevelt Churchill Stalin Followed by the Potsdam Conference: Truman Churchill (during this conference there was an election in England and Churchill was replaced by Attlee.) Stalin Hope this helps, John
William Lyon Mackenzie king had actually been apart of the Quebec conference which took place on august 17,1943.also Winston Churchill was there along with franklin.d.rosevelt.there they had talked about the invasion on france. so William lyon Mackenzie king helped with the invasion on france and many more things.
Until British Prime Minister Winston Churchill talked President Roosevelt out of it (Save Britain First Strategy-Europe First), the initial plan was to fight the country that started the war with the United States, and that was Japan; using "War Plan Orange." The US Navy had been training on "Plan Orange" since the 1920's.
"If you're not a liberal when you're 25, you have no heart. If you're not a conservative by the time you're 35, you have no brain." There is no record of anyone hearing Churchill say this. Paul Addison of Edinburgh University makes this comment: "Surely Churchill can't have used the words attributed to him. He'd been a Conservative at 15 and a Liberal at 35! And would he have talked so disrespectfully of Clemmie, who is generally thought to have been a lifelong Liberal?" On the other hand, he became a Conservative at 48! So maybe the sentiment is correct, though the "ages of reason" are incorrect.
