Queen Victoria outlived three of her nine children: Princess Alice, who died in 1878; Princess Louise, who outlived her mother by only a few months, passing away in 1939; and Prince Arthur, who died in 1942. Additionally, she also outlived her son, Prince Leopold, who died in 1884. Her other children, including her eldest son, Albert Edward (later King Edward VII), survived her.
