Henry VIII had six wives. Only two of them survived him.

Anne Boleyn, his second wife, was behead for treason on false charges of adultry, incest, and plotting the death of the king. Henry had been trying for over six years to marry Anne and after less than three years of marriage he tired of her and found an exuse to get rid of her for Jane Seymour-his third wife.

Katherine Howard, his fifth wife, was behead for treason on charges of adultry. She came to court to wait on Henry's fourth wife-Anne of Cleves-when she cought Henry's eye. They were married just over a year. She was estimated to be anywhere between 16-21. Henry VIII at the time of her death was almost fifty years old with a large infected gash on the inside of his thiegh that had to be bled daily to remove the puss. So as you can imagine she didn't want to sleep with him so she found some men her own age. All acounts that I've seen or heard of have no doubt the charges were true.
