Inflammation is the body's natural response to injury, infection, or harmful stimuli, characterized by redness, heat, swelling, and pain. It involves the activation of the immune system, mobilizing white blood cells and releasing various chemicals to help heal the affected area. While acute inflammation is a protective mechanism, chronic inflammation can contribute to various diseases, including Arthritis, Heart disease, and Diabetes.
