Two to four tablespoons (1 to 2 fluid ounces) per gallon of water is the dosage on Ortho Systemic Insect Killer. Two tablespoons must be measured out when treating aphids and grasshoppers while four need to be mixed in when treating Japanese beetles. Three tablespoons (1.5 fluid ounces) per gallon must be used against the following:

• ash plant bug;
  
• bagworm, beet armyworm, birch leaf-miner, black vine weeivil, budworm;
  
• cabbage looper, catalpa sphinx moth larvae, cottonwood leaf beetle, Cuban laurel thrip;
  
• elm leaf beetle;
  
• fall cankerworm and webworm, fuchsia mite;
  
• gypsy moth larvae;
  
• holly leaf-miner;
  
• lacebug, leaf-hopper, leaf-roller, lilac leaf-miner;
  
• maple shoot moth larvae, mimosa webworm, mealybug;
  
• Nantucket pine tip moth larvae;
  
• oak webworm, obscure root weevil, orange-striped oakworm;
  
• popular tentmaker, psyllid;
  
• root-saddled prominent caterpillar;
  
• sawfly, scale crawler, spittlebug, spruce mite, stinkbug;
  
• thrip, tent caterpillar, two-spotted spider mite;
  
• whitefly, and willow leaf beetle pests.
