Box Spring
To the bottom of the foundation or the top of the mattress?
The movie Bed Knobs and Broomsticks has a flying and time traveling bed (that includes a flying mattress).
A bed skirt is designed to hang from the box spring or the frame of the bed, covering the area between the mattress and the floor. It is placed underneath the mattress, not on top of it. The purpose of a bed skirt is to conceal the box spring and any items stored under the bed, adding a decorative touch to the overall bedding ensemble.
When you say mattress that is the top. Boxspring is the bottom. So im guessing you have mattress and boxspring extra long. The answer is yes. A twin extra long mattress will fit a regular twin bed frame. The length is just longer not the width.
The mattress on my day bed is 37"X74".
The mattress will be 60 inches (same width as queen bed mattress) by 72inches (8 inches shorter than queen bed mattress).
No. Especially if you have a thick mattress. The f/q comforter doesn't even come to the bottom of the mattress or cover the pillow area.
Bed
The structures forming stomach bed are mattress, bed sheet, pillows, blanket, pillow covers, cushions etc.
The foundation of a bed is what you put the mattress on top of, it is the bed it's self not including the mattress, headboard, foot board or any bedding.
An air mattress is a mattress inflated with air, and used as a temporary or permanent bed.
A bed frame or platform holds the mattress in place. It provides support for the mattress and prevents it from shifting or sliding. Some bed frames may also include slats or a box spring to further support the mattress.
