Hey, I tried using a Fret Saw. Success rate is poor as the shells are brittle and break. Still got a few of them sliced.

How do you slice in Adobe Illustrator?

You have to use the rulers to make rectangles around your links. then you go to Object, Slice, Make from guides. You also have to use the slice selection tool under the crop area tool on the left side. Then you can combine the slices by clicking on the red numbers you want to combine by holding the shift key. After that you go back to Object, slice, and click combine slices. When you need a link you have to click the red number and go to Slice options under object, slice. there you can put the links address. After that you have to save it for webs and devices under file.

If I had a bucket that contained a mixture of sand and seashells how might you use the physical properties of the seashells to separate them from the sand?

One way to separate the seashells from the sand is to use the difference in density between the two materials. Since seashells are usually less dense than sand, you can gently shake the bucket so that the seashells rise to the top, making it easier to scoop them out. Another method is to use a sieve or mesh to separate the larger seashells from the sand based on size.

What physical properties could I use to separate seashells and sand?

Why should you know the uses of each tool in cooking?

You should know the use of each tool because each tool is specially made to perform different tasks in the kitchen. Knowing which tool to use for tasks will not only save you time, but will save you effort. For instance, if you slice bread with a butcher knife, you will tear the bread all to pieces and end up with a crumbly mess. A bread knife is specially made to slice bread easily and won't tear the bread up.
