Both very effective bee killers. Half life below surface approximately 200 days. No known effective disposal or decontamination method. The MSDS says 'dispose of in a safe manner'.
No it is a pyrethroid
Yes, cypermethrin is a systemic insecticide.Specifically, a systemic insecticide controls insects by disrupting the pests' life-sustaining processes and structures. In the case of cypermethrin, it is a case of attacking the central nervous system. The results will include paralysis or uncoordinated movements which ultimately lead to death.
Yes it is, kills them in a matter of seconds.
No, cypermethrin and permethrin are different synthetic pyrethroid insecticides. While they have similar uses in controlling pests, they have different chemical structures and properties. It is important to consult the specific usage guidelines for each one when applying them.
Cypermethrin, assuming the LD50s for the two chemicals are for the same period of time. LD50 is the lethal concentration where half of the individuals die in a given time period. Higher numbers mean that is takes more of the chemical to kill organisms, whereas lower numbers mean it takes less of the chemical to kill organisms. LD50s depend on what animal was used in the experiment.
No efficiency, if above 60 celsius it is boiling up, and no work.
Cypermethrin is in a class of termiticides known to be repellent. It can be effective where it is put out. Cypermethrin creates a chemical shield where ever it is put out. If you knew where the termites and other wood borers were coming out of the ground at the bottom of a window and you used this product, it would stop them from attacking that area but they could just move a few inches over and continue on. When you treat a home with it you need to treat all of the possible entry points with it for if you have a break in the barrier, even the width of a pencil mark, termites can return. A product called Termidor would be a much better choice to control termite and other wood borers activity.
You can either pull them off by hand or treat the goat with an appropriate chemical as in amitraz, cypermethrin, deltamethrin or flumethrin based products (but the majority of these may not be registered for use in goats).
1. Profenofos is used in pests prevention for cotton, vegetables, fruit tree and other crops, but it is not available for alfalfa and sorghum. And it is better to not use this product in garden. 2. Mixed with abamectin, profenofos can be used in asparagus caterpillar and prodenia litura preventions. 3. Mixed with phoxim, cypermethrin, beta-cypermethrin and deltamethrin, profenofos can be used in cabbage caterpillar, plutella xylostella and asparagus caterpillar preventions, as well as the preventions for wheat aphids and cabbage aphids.
Dung beetles are a relative of the scarab beetle. To get rid of dung beetles, invest in a dung beetle spray such as Cypermethrin.
Broad question. A synthetic pyrethroid powder (WP) you mix with water at 40%/60%. Use in a aerosol fogger. (Not a Propane fogger.) When you purchase it, you will find the actual directions you must follow on the label for that product.
