An open head wound may have small worms in it due to the presence of maggots, which are the larvae of flies, particularly blowflies. These flies are attracted to decaying tissue and open wounds, laying their eggs there. The larvae feed on the necrotic tissue, which can help in cleaning the wound in some medical contexts, but their presence often indicates a lack of proper wound care and can lead to infections. It's crucial to seek medical attention for any open wound to prevent complications.
If you split your head open, you should apply pressure to the wound to control bleeding and seek medical help immediately. Try to keep the wound clean and avoid touching it with dirty hands to prevent infection.
it depends on how deep the wound is. normally they will use stitches if the wound is small and deep but they use staples if the wound is bigger but not as deep. also staples are newer and supposed to be less painful then stitches. it also depends on where your wound is. normally they staple wounds on the head and stitch on your limbs. hope this helped?
The clear sticky fluid that spreads from an open wound on your head is lymph; if it is infected, it is pus.
The first wound is on the head, when the soldiers placed a crown of thorns on his head.

The hippopotomus have something on its head called acnilitiosdraggerpersoncat. Yes a very long word! It means small sized worms. These worms are usually hot pink, black, brown or light blue. So that is what they have on their heads.From,Dr. Mainguy
Hammerhead worms do not bite.
I would say yes. An open wound may sting a bit, but it is always a good idea to keep it clean. Be gentle with the shampoo and dont rub the wounded area too much. Let the water flowing do the main work. It may freshen you up a bit to have a shower after a minor head wound. Be gentle when drying your hair afterwards. a hairdryer is a good idea. Your wound should not be allowed to be wet for an extencive period after a shower. That would make it an ideal growthplace for bacterias. After you have dried your hair, you could/should put some antibacterial powder like bacemycine talkum over your wound. (this if it is an open wound, otherwise no need.)

Custer was shot in the left breast, just below the left nipple, and also in the left temple. The breast wound bled ... the head wound did not. Thus, the breast wound was likely the fatal wound, and the head wound was likely done post-mortem.
