Rubbing alcohol will kill just about anything it comes in contact with. Apply liberally.
Not knowing what you mean by dangerous, iso-propyl alcohol (standard rubbing alcohol, either 70% or 99%) should have no effect on a carpet other than to kill 99.99% of bacteria and viruses in the carpet.
You can try using rubbing alcohol on a cloth to help dissolve the liquid bandaid and then gently blotting the affected area on the carpet. You may need to repeat this process a few times until the stain is removed. Always test the rubbing alcohol on a small, inconspicuous area of the carpet first to ensure it does not cause any damage.
