I say no, but not because the individual is a male, because there is a suprising amount of employers who don't allow their employees to wear open toe heels. At a job interview, I would definitely wear a classic, closed toe pump or even a sling back if I just had to be different.
Yes
Proffesional, suit and tie
if you are a tall person, it is best to not wear heels at all
Anyone can wear heels. It's just a decision :) It's definitely been done!
You dress comfortably, but according to the position you're applying for. You wouldn't show up in a suit to work on a road crew. You wouldn't show up in short-shorts to work in an office.
There are many men that wear lipstick and high heels. Some think it is okay and some think that only women should wear high heels and lip stick.
Absolutely Not. Your image as a professional will be in question. Always dress conservative. Now, if you plan on getting a job at a strip joint, that's something else! Seriously? Unless you're 4'5", and really not even then, should you wear shoes like that. Not to an interview, not on the job. No! I'd be afraid of getting stuck in a sidewalk grate! Even if you're very tiny, I'd say this is inappropriate. Heels for an interview should be a maximum of 2 inches. Pumps or flats are even more appropriate. Four inch heels make your legs look great. But is that what you really want to stand out at the interview? ~ T
It depends how long we wear the high heels for, and what size heel you wear. But if you wear them for a very long period of time, then yes, it does hurt.
