not enough field of view on transvaginal scan
according to: http://www.medicinenet.com/script/main/art.asp?articlekey=51281 Ovarian: Transvaginal ultrasound, which visualizes the ovaries to look for tumors, and a blood test called CA125 are used by some doctors now in women known to be at very high risk for this disease, but they are not yet accurate enough to screen the general population.
Can a ultrasound be accurate if its saying im now due 3 weeks later then they determined?
Ultrasound technology is advancing every day, along with other healthcare technologies. Ultrasound can now detect many medical concerns and issues in a noninvasive way. Ultrasound is also many new parent's first view of their baby!
i dont now go to wikipedia
you need an ultrasound (duplex) scan done to see if the main vein or part of it is still there- that is the one which can have endovenous laser done to it. you need an ultrasound (duplex) scan done to see if the main vein or part of it is still there- that is the one which can have endovenous laser done to it.
No, all babies look more or less the same at birth, never mind on ultrasound. Do you look like your father even now?
death
An ultrasound is a medical test that used sonar to look inside the body. Here are some sentences. My doctor told me the results of my ultrasound. The ultrasound showed us a picture of her baby inside her womb.Ultrasound technology allows us to look into the body without surgery.
I also am having some spotting at 7 weeks but only when I wipe and it's like a dark brownish reddish color. I had a transvaginal ultrasound about 3 days ago and the spotting started after that and hasn't stopped yet. I have no cramping or back pain and we saw a heart beat of 130 bpm and was told the baby is measuring right on target. My doc told me that spotting after the ultrasound is normal but I thought it would have stopped by now and I am freaked out. I have had 5 miscarriages all before 5 weeks (chemical pregnancies) and this is the first time we have seen a heart beat. Everything makes me so nervous. Please let me know what happens with you.
my ultrasound said that my last period was nov25 could it be right
They are accurate within 2 or 3 days. But this does not mean that you will have the baby on your due date. Babies can be born any time between 37 and 42 weeks. That is what midwives are taught anyway. With my first my ultrasound said I was due 10 days after my period date but my husband had been away on a trip form the day after conception! Second time around the ultrasound agreed completely, and showed twins. (now 16) == Your last known period date or the date of conception is a better predictor....as all babies are different & you may have an extrememly large or an extremely small baby for it's gestational age, and when compared against babies in the "norm" the due date could be way off.
Well as no one else has answered my question I will update this situation. The 3 week follow-up ultrasound which the Technician said showed nothing actually shows an poorly defined area of hypoechoicity of now 1.9 x 1.0 cm...upcoming biopsy.
