How do you answer what is your hobbies or passion?

If you do something interesting in your spare time, this may help to show that you have abilities that you make use of in other areas than work. If all you do in your spare time is drink beer and watch television, that does not qualify as a hobby, it's too passive and doesn't require any ability to do. However, if you play some sport (tennis, Golf, whatever) or you like to fish, bicycle, hike, or play the piano, paint landscapes, or read some particular kind of literature, or compose poetry, or you volunteer at a homeless shelter to help feed hungry people, or many other activities, that could be worth mentioning.

give a brief description of something recreational that you like to do on your free time, but use only what can show necessary skills to the job. a computer technician trying to hire you wouldn't care about your days at a football camp as well as a psychologist wouldn't want to hear about your tales about boxing, hope that helps :)

The question about hobbies or passion is intended to discover what interests you, or what you most like to do with your free time. Some people like to read, some like to play Baseball, some play Video Games, some collect ceramic figurines, some hunt for squirrels, and so forth. This may or may not have any actual relevance to a job application, but some employers like to know these things. It can give some insight into your abilities.
