First you have to understand that there are not people in which are called profilers. There is also the question about in the U.K or the U.S.A. although it is difficult in both countries, the main aspect if experience.

In the USA FBI agents don't just go and take come tests and they are in. In fact i am sure i read there are only 25 in the brearu. Most profilers will hve a degree in psychology criminology and forensics, but that is not enough. It is also vital that the agent have at least 5 years experience in which includes, rape murder etc. Even still this field is very competitive, and as staed it is not all based on qualifications. You must remember that profiling is nothing like tv shows and is a lot mor ehard work, there is books are atricles which can be found almost anywhere in which will give you more information. So if you want to reach your goal, get your degree, get your experience and make yourself noticed
