I made about 19k in a year, without experience, and without seniority. Now that I'm a senior houseman, I'm hoping that gets pushed to 20-25k. However, it depends solely on what hotel you're part of, how busy it is, how many stars it has, its size, its location, the seasons, etc.. It's a very physically demanding job, and clients can be awful, but the work is decent, independent and in the long run can keep you in shape better than most jobs. Do your research before diving in. If you're choosing this over an average minimum wage paying job, then take it.
