Actually America didnt took part in World War 2 till the end. and that is the reason it is the most developed country today in the world. because usa did not face any economical crises during war time which all the countries of the world suffered from.
but at the end of the world war 2, Japan attakced the pearl harbour of USA with many fighter planes, which caused great loss to USA and it was a shock for them. after this USA enered into the world war 2 and destroyed the two great cities of japan namely Hiroshima and nagasaki by dropping two nuclear bombs at respective places, the effect of which can be seen even in todays generation of children born in japan at such affected places. this act of America showed the world the terror of nuclear weapon and this brought an end to the second world war.
