Abu Dhabi-The United Arab Emirates, is a good place to work if a person has the right qualifications, a well written CV, recognised certificates and proper documentation. All certificates are scrutinized for authenticity.

Like all other countries in the world, job security is only as good as the person's commitment to work.

Unskilled jobs require at least a High School Diploma.

Professional jobs require specific qualifications and degrees.

Once a job has been accepted, a contract has to be signed by both parties, the employee and the employer. The employer then processes the work visa for the employee, health insurance and labour card. There is a trail of official paperwork that has to be done. IF the health check up turns out fine, the visa will be done.

Work hours differ according to the place of work. Some places have morning shifts, some evening, and some double shifts.

Some companies work six days a week while others, five days a week. The weekend in the United Arab Emirates falls on Friday and Saturday.
