The use of paper is not bad, in fact with today's standards for the forestry industry cut trees must be replaced with new ones, and these young trees actually produce more Oxygen and absorb more CO2. Also an estimate by a manufacturer of paper puts a cord of wood (4ft*4ft*8ft) yielding 90,000 sheets. In comparison to other uses, the wood used for paper is fairly insignificant. Also paper is the least of our worries when it comes to landfills and the other materials they contain. The idea that wasting paper is bad was just promoted by tree hugger's who don't look at the facts.
