How interesting! Questions to ask George Washington... I assume you mean Interview Questions for the job position of President of the United States? Here are a few...
Interviewer: From what you just told me, I understand when you lived with your older brother, an older neighbor asked you to go survey his massive lands across the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia. Did you go?
Washington: Yes, I went on that mission. I met many Indians along the way.
Interviewer: Did you draw the surveys, as you were asked?
Washington: I only made some drawings. I became more interested in the plant fauna, the new species of animals, and made extensive notes about the land itself.
Interviewer: Would you say that was a mistake?
Washington: No, I don't see it that way. No, I didn't complete survey drawings. But I felt it important to learn as much as I could about the Native Americans, especially since they used those lands for hunting. I passed many hunting lodges along the way. I learned a lot about negotiating while talking to those people.
Interviewer: I understand you also went to fight the French? Would you say you were successful there?
Washington: No, I wasn't, unfortunately. I hated it. I thought I could defeat them... but I had to surrender instead. For a while, I thought it was my worst failure. But, I realized how much I learned about military strategies, in addition to what I read in books at my neighbor's house. He was my mentor-- and his books helped educate me. But there was nothing better than a surrender to help me know how to conduct a military operation. Of course... I hated war. I really didn't even want to be a "military man".
Interviewer: So with these past mistakes and 'failures', why do you think we should 'hire' you to be the President?
Washington: Everything I've done has taught me negotiation skills and the power of the word over the arrow and gun. I love this great land, having walked many hundreds of miles through its forests. I have a vision for the citizens in a Free democratic world, and believe I can lead us into the future.
