Today's world is full of opportunities, but mainly for those who have a degree and good references. For those who just have a degree with no experience, a call center is a heaven for them.

You just need to have a sense of languages and communication and that's it!

The amount you may earn in day shift will be half of what you may earn in night shifts. You can make a career in a call center just by following simple steps.

Second line (who answer more difficult questions or who deal with VIP customers) make more money that first line (starting) agents. If you get promoted to supervisor, you will see your salary increase, but also your responsibilities.

Disadvantages:

Health will be the first disadvantage. Working in a night shift affects your life physically in many ways. The shifts are rotational and accordingly you have to rotate the times of your meals and sleeping. You hardly eat at home and may need to rely on cafeteria food, ready-made meals or local food stores.

Stress in the work environment, alone already a health risk, may also lead to other unhealthy traits like smoking, drinking, binge eating or drug abuse.

Sitting still in one spot for long times is also a health risk, but can be mitigated by taking sufficient breaks, drinking enough water and stretching if you feel stiff. This adds to the eye strain you might develop from staring at a screen for continuous hours. This may also lead to headaches.

Your social life is very irregular, and you will have difficulty planning or making family meetings and relationships.
