You need not give your teachers any kind of gift, but if she is an especially helpful teacher who made a difference for you, a small gift would be ok. The most common gift given to teachers is a Starbucks gift card. Lots of PE teachers are health nuts who never go to Starbucks. The second most common gift is a cup or mug.
