Oh honey, that's an innkeeper. They're the ones making sure you have a bed to sleep in and probably judging your choice of breakfast. Just don't ask them for a discount, they've heard every sob story in the book.

How do you get into the haunted house on Ghost Story Island?

well, first you need to get the key to the inn room from the man in front of the graveyard. then, go to the inn and go to room 2B on the 2nd floor. click on the bed and you will "take a nap". then some creepy stuff happens, and you will wake up. go to the wardrobe and open it. the inn owners will jump out and start talking to you. after that, go back down to the first floor and go to the piano to the right of the door. to the right of the piano, there will be a violin. go to the violin and it will go to your "items" backpack. (I used it there in the inn, and it told me that "it was good practice". I'm not sure if you have to practice or not...) exit the inn and go to the man with the green tent at the foot of the cliff, to the right of the inn. play the violin there. you just need to play random strings, that's what I did :) you will see movement in the window. another man will come from the left and arrest the man with the tent for ghost hunting. you can then take the binoculars from the side of the tent and they will go to your backpack. go to the backpack and use them. aim them at the round window at the top of the house. you will see a silhouette of a woman. you will say, "I think she wants me to come near her!" then, go up the cliff to the house. to the right of the door, there will be a trapdoor. go down it. you are now in the haunted house. hope that helped! :D

What do you do after you get a room at the inn on ghost story island?

Go to the inn and go to your room. You turn in for the night and objects begin to scarily move around. The innkeepers are tricking you. Take the violin and use it at the old house next door. Later you give your room key to a man who arrives on a boat.
