Skills needed to be a photojournalist are: a keen eye, a way with words, and a knack for putting the two together. You must have a steady hand, when holding a camera. Your sight must include not just what you see in the foreground of the photo but the background can add to, or take away from every shot you will be taking as a photojournalist. Sometimes you will want the photo to tell the story, but you will have to develop your writing skills in order to bring more information out on what your photos show. The more experience you get at taking photos and writing the story to go with them, the better you become... You experiment with your early writing and Photography and when you get better you develop your own style. For some it becomes a trademark. It is a great profession if you can find a job and keep it. Good LUCK!
