Francis Bacon said "Knowledge is power"
If knowledge is utilized properly it yields money which is power in today's times. A person who is rich and wealthy is a powerful person. Also from money comes a status which gives one respect in the society. And if one has respect in the society then that person has everything. What does one need in life?
Happiness is the only answer we will get if we will go deep into the reasons we answer. For example, Happiness to me is success in academics and an inner satisfaction in whatever I pursue. And answers will vary from person to person.
Coming back to the topic,"knowledge is power"; I agree with it wholly. Bookish knowledge might not be the ultimate knowledge. Many successful entrepreneurs (eg. tata, birla, ambanis to name a few) are those who never had the opportunity to go to school. But still, then they had the will power with the help of which they conquered the whole world. They became powerful in their respective fields and set an example for the world to see.
Hence it is concluded that knowledge is power be it in any form.
Hazrat Ali told knowledge is power...
By increasing knowledge. Knowledge is power.
There are several definitions, such as knowledge is power, but my definition is that knowledge is the understanding of information in life.
Simply, an idiot. Knowledge is power.
The quote "Knowledge is power" is attributed to Sir Francis Bacon, an English philosopher and statesman from the 16th century. He believed that knowledge and education were essential for personal growth and societal progress.

Position power, task power, personal power, relationship power, and knowledge power. This are the points of power.
expert power
The motto of Nuclear Power School is 'Knowledge, Integrity, Excellence'.
Power is often defined as the capacity to influence others' behavior, to get others to do what challengers want, rather than what the initial parties themselves wants. Expertise is merely the skill of an expert. Foucault (1977), bekieved that knowledge is always a form of power, but he took it a step further and told us that knowledge can be gained from power, producing it, not preventing it. Through observation, new knowledge is produced. In this view, knowledge is forever connected to power. Knowledge, once used to regulate the conduct of others, entails constraint, regulation and the discipling of practice. Thus, there is no power relation without the correlative constitution of a field of knowledge, nor any knowledge that does not presuppose and constitute at the same time, power.
