How do you replace the serpentine belt on 97' 3000 GT?

I own a 98 3000 gt base model. Its actually easier than I thought. There is a "Jackscrew Tensioner" near by the alternator, right where the you place the serpentine belt. You will notice a pulley that connects to the "JAckscrew Tensioner" You must only LOOSEN that bolt that goes INTO that pulley. Afterwards, loosen the JAckscrew Tensioner. The Pulley should move freeley forwards and backwards. At that point, you can place the serpentine belt over the Crankshaft, alternator and over the pulley. Tighten the Tensioner until the belt is secure over the THREE different Pulleys (crank shaft pulley, alternator pulley and the top tension pulley. Check the tension of the belt by Twisting it. It should twist no more and no less than half a turn. If you have more or less, you need to adjust the Jackscrew more. AFter you are done. Re tighten the BOLT that goes INTO the Tention Pulley. Run the engine, inspect the belt, listen for sounds and things like that. Im no mechanic, but this was super easy actually. Look up the belt diagram online. 3sx.org is a good site for 3000gt and dodge stealths. Thanks, Alex A.
