The Head Chef is in total charge of the kitchens. Every other sub-chef and kitchen worker is under his or her command. The Head Chef has the responsibility to ensure the restaurant customers receive their orders in an acceptable time, and is up to an acceptable standard (or better). The Head Chef also has to ensure that supplies he or she buys in, are of good quality - and must keep a close watch on costs.
