As of my last update, one of the places that has experienced a significant lack of rainfall for an extended period is the region of northeastern Brazil, particularly in the state of Ceará. This area has faced severe drought conditions, leading to water shortages and impacts on agriculture and livelihoods. Additionally, parts of Somalia and the Horn of Africa have also been affected by prolonged drought, resulting in humanitarian crises.
