Why shouldn't kids be paid for getting good grades?

Kids shouldn't get paid to go to school because all school is giving you education that can get you to a great college get you a great job and make you succeed in life and because school is not work unless you are a teacher

Because you are supposed to want to learn of your own volition; humans are naturally curious creatures inclined to learning from birth (that's why we eventually learn to walk, talk, etc). The issue is that school can go against natural learning inclinations and squash creativity/intuition with an arbitrary system. Thus, your natural desire to learn gets caught-up in a system that isn't conducive to the ways we like to learn (intuitively, indulging our curiosity, trial-and-error, etc).

Short Answer: you should want to learn for self-betterment and because of internal motivation, so money would cheat you out of that experience.

School Before SportsWell... The more you focus on sports... The less you focus on school work. And if you aren't paying attention at school then your grades will drop. So in order to play sports I think you should have good grades and keep them good so you can continue to play sports.....

Students WILL get paid money for getting good grades ... it's called getting a good job once you've graduated. You don't need to be paid more than that. It's something everybody works for if they want to succeed.

Yes and no the econome is so bad we need to use money on diffrent stuff like school stuff but if we use it for paying them they will get motivated
