I am a felon myself and have been seeking answers. I have found a lot of felons claim to have successfully landed in Amsterdam and Germany. Apparently, once you land in Europe, you are free to roam as if from state to state here in America. Of course I havent had the opportunity to try as I still have 8 months of my five year sentence left, but Im damn sure gonna try. Contact the embassy, thats what Im going to do. Im not trying to give you false hope but it seems I have had the same answers from a few different travelling felons.

(in the US) Once a felon has served their time and is free of any court ordered restrictions on his travel, there are no restrictions on his applying for a passport. The real question becomes; Will the country he wants to travel to allow him to enter?
