No.
The right to bear arms.
Convicted felons are prohibited by federal law from possessing firearms, so although it may be possible under state law, it is not under federal law.
Yes. Until your next life, if you believe in reincarnation. A convicted felon may not purchase, possess, or be allowed access to firearms, ammunition, or body armor, and it remains that way for the duration of their lifetime.
You need a lawyer and money to try to get your right to bear arms back once you are a convicted felon.
Felons surrender the right to bear arms the moment they become convicted felons. However, under some circumstances, a felon can have his rights restored, but the first reply is correct. Once convicted of a felony, you lose your gun rights.
No. Felons and firearms dont mix
you must first get a pardon from the Governor then have your criminal record expunged! ... and that won't restore gun rights in any way, shape, or form. Simply put, there really isn't a way to restore them. Once you've lost them, they're lost for good.
depends on where u live. in usa the second amendment grants the right to bear arms u may not bear arms if you are a felon
You will need a lawyer and money to find out if you qualify for reinstatement of the right to bear arms.
Can be very confusing!! It may depend on the wording of your state's laws, AND whether or not you've petitioned to have your rights restored - AND - whether you are a felon because of violating a state law OR a felon because you violated a Federal law. Once you get those questions cleared up you'll have a clearer idea of whether you can, or can't. Bottom line - if you are convicted Federal felon - forget it - black powder arms are specifically denied to you.
NO. Regardless of what state you reside in, it is a FEDERAL offense (USC, Title 18) for a convicted felon to ever own or possess a firearm or ammunition.
The governor and the cabinet give you the right to regain the right to bear arms. You were told that information when you got out of prison but you did not pay attention. You have to wait until you are off probation or payroll. Then you can apply. Since probation and payroll is where you go to apply for pardons and you want to bear arms which would require a pardon, I would assume that is where you would call. They should have the forms.
