Having it expunged doesn't restore your firearms rights - you remain a convicted felon, and thus, are prohibited from possessing a firearm under federal law. If it is only a felony at the state level, it MIGHT be possible to have your firearms rights restored. You'll need a lawyer to give you a more insightful answer here.
