The state of Maryland can request to Pennsylvania that your licence be suspended - whether Pennsylvania would actually do this or not is a bit doubtful. However, the state of Maryland can - and will - suspend your driving privilege in that state, making it illegal for you to drive within the boundaries of that state until you have your privileges reinstated in the state of Maryland.
It means that you were caught driving without a valid license. Your valid US-issued license is good in every US state, but when it is suspended it is suspended everywhere.
I do not know PA laws but here in FL if your license is suspended then it holds true for any vehicle, and not having a valid motorcycle license is going to add to the charges.
If a license is suspended in one state then other states must recognize the original states decision and uphold it. Ex: it's why if you're married in CA it's valid in PA, etc.

Unless there was some other aspect to the charge that you did not disclose in the question, that alone, should not be enough to get you suspended. If MD does suspend you however, your privilege to drive in MD would definitely be suspended, but it would be up to PA as to whether to honor that suspension in PA or not.
you must have a valid motorcycle license if the moped is over 50 cc's. you must be at least 16 with a valid drivers license if it is less that 50cc's.
As long as it's 49cc or under.
