Yes, if you do not have a prescription for methadone and get caught with it, you can receive jail time.
No, and you can go to jail for trying.

If you mean fake insurance policies, then yes.

People will continue to use and sell it illegally, and a lot of folks will go to jail unnecessarily.

Uhh, you do it and then go to jail for illegally burning a copyrighted disk when you could just go buy a copy.
In my rural town of Pennsylvania people male or female are not permit to take their subs in jail, which i think is completely wrong because addiction is a disease, that's like them knowing you have a deadly disease and not getting you help. I guess they think they are the same as oxys/dope. Shows how smart the jail council is, lol I have been to jail many times and never got my suboxone in jail. They will probably laugh at you. You have a better chance of getting methadone then suboxone in jail. I have of hears that some city jails take you to your methadone clinic if you already go, but this is rare. I would say that you are unfortunately screwed here. I would try to go ahead and stop before you go to jail so you won't experience the worst withdrawals in jail, because that is the worst place to have withdrawals.
can go to jail for months or pay 1000$ can go to jail for months or pay 1000$
You can deported if you are here illegally and not a citizen. A citizen can't be deported from their own country, but they can go to jail for committing a crime.
No
For methadone, the only thing that could cause a "false" positive is if you are a heroin user and methadone had been used to cut the heroin you'd been using recently. As strange as it sounds, this is actually not uncommon at all. I suppose the same would go for cocaine, but I have never heard of coke being cut with met.
