Depends upon which field of law they practice, but most lawyers use math to a greater or lesser degree. In calculation of damages usually involves a fair degree of arithmetic. In business law, documents often contain complex mathematical formula (for example, for calculation of break costs in a loan agreement). However, even an area like family law can require some arithmetic in relation to calculation of payments etc. Probably the only field that does not use math regularly is criminal law and possibly Immigration law.

Some ocean jobs do not require scientific education, like being a fisherman or a surfing instructor, but these jobs do involve some science. For example, understanding the winds and the tide is extremely important for fishing and for surfing. Of course, there are unrelated jobs that involve the ocean, like being a waiter on a cruise ship or working in a shop by the beach. These may be considered ocean jobs that do not involve much math and science.
