If you have signed a 'Birth Certificate' and applied for a 'Social Security' number and received a 'Social Security Card' for your child, then you have already given your child up to the STATE OF ARIZONA.

They can come and take them whenever they wish, even by using force if necessary. Unfortunately most parents do not know they have given up their rights to the children by doing this. You are simply taking care of the STATE'S child and you are expected to take good care of it, because it's worth a bunch of money to them.

If you are unable to take care of the child then I'm sure that the STATE has a Social Services Office that will assist you in taking their child and putting it in a STATE ran Orphanage or finding someone else that the STATE feels is qualified to raise their children.

In the state of Arizona if you give up your parental rights to a child that you have not seen in 4 years currently paying child support for does the child support obligation end?

In general, parental rights are terminated either preparatory to an adoption, or after a trial in which it is determined that the parent is unfit. In any case, termination of parental rights does not, in itself, terminate child support.

Is it true your mom can give you up even if you are 15?

Yes a minor can be given up at any age. The parent would have to have good reasons to do so though if they expect the state to care of their kids and they still have to pay child support to the state for the child when they give up parental rights (a must if the state will take them) and if they one day want custody and rights back they will most likely not get it. Only a judge can decide if you are allowed to give up parental rights.
