The Texas Constitution could be improved by streamlining its lengthy and complex provisions, which currently make it one of the longest state constitutions in the U.S. Simplifying the language and consolidating similar articles could enhance accessibility and understanding for citizens. Additionally, modernizing certain outdated sections and addressing contemporary issues like education funding and infrastructure could ensure the constitution better reflects the needs of today's Texans. Finally, reducing the frequency of amendments—currently often driven by special interests—could create a more stable legal framework.
Traditionally the Australian Constitution has proven very hard to change, in its history the constitution has been changed only 8 times out of 46 attempts, as such we can surmise that not alot of people want the constitution changed generally, but I could give a better answer if you asked about the constitution being changed in regards to what area.

The antifederalist argued about the constition
The question of whether Texas needs a new constitution is a matter of ongoing debate. Proponents argue that the current constitution, adopted in 1876, is overly lengthy and complex, containing numerous amendments that make it difficult to navigate. Critics contend that a new constitution could simplify governance and better address modern issues. Ultimately, the decision hinges on public sentiment and political will to undertake such a significant overhaul.
The Constitution of the Republic of Texas (1836) provided that slaves would remain the property of their owners, that the Texas Congress could not prohibit the immigration of slaveholders bringing their property, and that slaves could be imported from the United States (although not from Africa). The constitution can not be changed without first destroying it and then starting over. The notion of doing such a thing rightfully makes everybody nervous even though this truly great document is not without its flaws. If the Constitution could be re-written ensuring that individual rights are better preserved and not eroded, it would be nice to remove the ridiculous three fifth enumeration thing.
so the bill of right could be written
So they could form a better Union
