18, just like everywhere else, unless you get emancipated prior to this.
No, you are not emancipated automatically when you have a child. It does not mean one has the ability to take care of yourself. You do have certain rights as to obtaining assistance for you and your child, but you are still the responsibility of your parents until you turn 18.
yes
Pretty hard, since there is no emancipation status for South Carolina.
North Carolina and South Carolina
If you by teen means 18, yes since they are then emancipated. But not younger than 18, that is illegal. You are obligated to care for your children until they are 18yo.
yes you can but you will hav eto go through the court and ge emancipated
When they become an adult. That would be 18 or when they get married.
{| |- | No you are not emancipated just because you had a child. Being a parent under the age of majority does not change that. However, they minor does have rights when it comes to the child and should contact social services in their community to discuss their options. |}
no
No. I think it was North Carolina and South Carolina
If you're in the US... A child saying he is emancipated means nothing (I can say I'm God, but that doesn't mean I am :). If the child actually is legally emancipated, then child support ceases.
