The length of a car is measured from bumper to bumper. The wheel base is measured from the center of the front wheel to the center of a rear wheel on the same side of the vehicle.

undo two or three screws just inside both front wheel arches then where the bonnet meets bumper there are little black plastic gromets , take them out, then pull bumper away from front wings they should pop out of plastic slides then go to front of car and pull complete bumper fowards and off.
Remove the screws in the wheel wells and underneath the plastic cover to remove the bumper cover. Then you can see to remove the actual bumper.
Fender is on the side of the car, over the wheel. Bumper is on the front below the grill running from side to side.
If you sit on the ground near the front wheel you can pull the bumper back from in the wheel well enough to fit your arm in and replace the bulb. Its a tight fit but I can be done with little to no effort, and you need no tools.
