Jehovah's Witnesses have often had their rights violated by various Governments or their various entities. Jehovah's Witnesses have appealed to the Court Systems to protect their rights; even taking matters to the Supreme Court; to the United Nations Human Rights Committee (UNHRC); and the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR).

Of the 49 cases involving Jehovah's Witnesses that have been heard by the ECHR, we have won all except 2 cases.

But then in 2011, one of the cases we lost, was overturned by it's Grand Chamber of 17 judges; with a vote of 16 to 1 in favor of Jehovah's Witnesses.

All of the cases brought before such legal entities by Jehovah's Witnesses have helped refine and establish the human and legal rights of all peoples. This is a contribution to the welfare of all earth's citizens.
