The fine itself is 256.50 and/or impounding your bike, suspending your OK drivers license and going to jail. That's all up to the arresting officers mood. This info given by the OK DPS at (405) 425-2059. Traffic Division
Yes.
yes it is illegal to drive a motorcycle anywherewithout the proper endorsement!
In the state of Florida you need a special endorsement on your drivers license in order to ride and rent a motorcycle. You must also take and pass a basic rider course to get the endorsement.
No... it is a misdemeanor. If you get the class M (motorcycle) endorsement before your court date the judge will likely dismiss it.
Not on public roads. Anyone that rides one HAS to have a Missouri Drivers License but to ride a 49cc you DO NOT need a motorcycle endorsement
I got fined somewhere around $275 (no other criminal record, Ingham County). It seems most counties have a set fine for this if it's your only offense. The court SEEMS to treat it like a ticket, but traffic crimes can't be expunged in Michigan, so fight it if you can, for the sake of your record down the line.
Your scrdw. You probably where pulled over for speeding and that does not help your case. The best thing you can do (which is what you should have already done in the first place) is complete a Motorcycle Safety Course ASAP and get your motorcycle endorsement before your mandatory court date. Operating a motorcycle with out the endorsement is a Criminal Charge so don't p/o the cop. Chances are he has a motorcycle endorsement and thinks your a moron for telling him you weren't aware of the necessity of one. Then, after you thumb print your $750 bill for a criminal certification, he will tell you, "You can not operate your motorcycle." And then he will drive off and leave you sitting on a bridge in the dark. By the time he is pulling off you need to realize that means get on your bike and get the hell out of there before some drunk driver kills you. This happened to me. I would rather have hauled my bike off and not received the tickets than him encouraging me ride off after informing me i was committing a criminal act. Getting the bike off the road is the issue, but they would rather charge you criminally, write you up then let you pull off. Proof that its all about the money.
In the US, there isn't a specific motorcycle license - you get an "M" endorsement added to your drivers licence. So yes, you would need to have one.
It recently became more expensive due to the fact that in order to own (hold a title to) a motorcycle, you are required to obtain the endorsement within a certain period of time. basically, if your riding one without it, your probably not riding your own.
how much propane can you haul without hazmat endorsement
It all depends on the state you live in. For example, in VA it is possible to have a motorcycle license without having a drivers license. If you already have a drivers license, you would get an M-Class endorsement.
No, you cannot rent a motorcycle without a valid motorcycle license.
