The age of consent is 16 in Ohio, so this allows consensual sex. The problem is the "running away" that could get the adult (18) in trouble. A 16 year old is still a minor and a minor leaving home without permission is illegal. A bit of advice here. Don't do it. I know you are feeling you can't live without each other, but THINK. You need money for rent, food, gas, and living and most likely you will be living on the streets which is dangerous and begging for money. WAIT grow up, stay in school, and make sure this is the person you want to be with. In 6 months you will mature into different people, your thinking will change, and the 2 years age difference may make a difference.
