If Google ever posted anything to harm its users the publicity would be huge and Google would be harmed substantially. The only thing one must consider is his or her privacy on Google. Google's privacy policy is unacceptable to some because of its mass conglomerate of data collection sources. Google can learn very much about a person over time. If anything, that is the issue to look into.
