It depends on what you mean by positive, Immigration is a dangerous, risky journeys that tend to have harsh effects so it's not really a "happy" thing.

Now if you mean positive as in good for our country, then it is. Sometimes though an immigrant will commit crimes while he/she is here, then it negative. Sadly our very broken country sees it as a negative thing overall.
