No it is not illegal to smoke weed. It is illegal to be in possession of it. You could be high off your (body part deleted) and walk up right up to a cop and be like I'm extremely high. As long as you dont have it on you, he wont be able to do anything about it.

Yes, it is illegal. The person above me says its okay to be high off of it as long as you dont have it in you possession, but you cant get high off of it unless you have it in your possession in the first place.

Well, there's public intoxication laws, and if you're an a-hole about it, yes, the cop will probably take you in. Of course, if you're polite, they'll probably only write you a citation, or they might just let you go as long as you're not blatantly stoned. If an officer wants to, they could detain you and keep you in the detox holding cell until they deem you okay to go back outside.

I'm not quite sure if there is rule against it but my personal opinion is think about it before you do it. it may be what your friends are doing but that doesn't mean you have to i know this might sound extremely parenty but consider your future cause if you do smoke there is a chance you will get cancer WHICH IS HORRIBLE but yeah im not sure if it illegal ????
