yes... tons and tons of people died because the smoke came down on everyone surrounding the towers.The smoke was poisonous and full of gasses, the smoke cloud would of carried objects along from the towers eg: papers, metals and loads others from the towers.People tried to hide from the smoke clouds and some were lucky to survive but others died unable to breath or because of grief panic.
