Is it ok for a 19 year old man to go out with a 14 year old female?

It isn't illegal but it is inappropriate to be dating someone who is so far from your age. If you are the 14 year old girl, you may be allowing yourself to be taken advantage of by an adult- you may not realize that your relationship (especially if you are sexually active with this person) will have a long-term effect on your mental and emotional development. I recommend dating someone within your age range- about one to two years- sometimes three, if they are under 18. If you are the 19 year old, you should consider dating someone closer to your age as well- especially if you are sexually active with this girl- you can be charged with statutory rape because she is a minor.

Most people would probably think so. Legally, you're asking for trouble as well. When you're 30, it's totally fine to date someone 5 years your junior, but at that age, you being 19 puts you in a significantly more mature bracket than a 14 year old. Sorry.

So long as both are happy with it and nothing bad happens, then sure, why not? but if something bad DOES happen, then don;t say you weren't warned....
