It is the 4th amendment, but there are also other amendments that can be applied. The 5th and 14th with the 4th have been used in court cases. The 4th as it is written is fairly general so court cases have defined it better. The Supreme Court has ruled in cases on search and seizure.

The fifth amendment applies to all levels of government. It gives all people in America basic legal rights, such as not having to testify against oneself and not being imprisoned or having a home taken away without trial.
The constitutional amendment does not prohibit quartering of solders! It only makes it so that if the government quarters a solder in your house, the government must pay you room and board. That came from pre-Revolutionary War days. Solders would move into people's homes. The home owner would have to feed the solders. Many people could not afford it. That amendment keeps the American government from acting like the government of King George III.
